MUNDI ESIM · TRAVEL INFORMED
Is my phone compatible with eSIM?
Check the model, purchase region, and carrier lock before choosing a travel eSIM.
Updated on
Check it in three steps
- Find the exact model in Settings → About phone. Also note where it was purchased.
- Check on the manufacturer’s website whether that variant supports eSIM. The same commercial name may have different variants.
- Check that the phone is free of carrier lock and allows you to add another mobile plan.
Finding “Add eSIM” in settings is a useful clue, but the device documentation and your carrier’s restrictions are the definitive check.
iPhone and Android
On iPhone, check the Mobile Data settings and the device information. On Android, look for SIM, SIM Manager, or Network & Internet; the names vary by manufacturer and version.
Apple’s official guide to travelling with eSIM. For Android, check the manufacturer's support page for your model.
If unsure, ask first
Write to hola@mundiesim.com with the exact model, country of purchase, and destination. Do not send IMEI, passwords, or activation QR codes.
