QUICK ANSWER

If you are looking for long-stay roaming for a trip of up to four weeks, a Mundi eSIM offers 28 days from first data use in the included countries. Data is unlimited during the plan’s validity: you get 10 GB per day at full speed and can keep browsing at reduced speed after that threshold. This is not unlimited full-speed data.

What long-stay roaming means

For several weeks abroad, you need a connection that fits the whole trip. Roaming means using a network other than your usual one; an eSIM is a digital way to install a plan and can also use roaming. Compare your current plan with a travel eSIM by countries, days, data and final price. Current Mundi eSIM plans last 28 days: four weeks, not a month of 30 or 31 days.

Unlimited data: 10 GB per day at maximum speed and then reduced speed

In the Mundi eSIM plans, exceeding the 10 GB in a day does not cut off the connection: you continue to have data at a lower speed while the plan remains valid. That is why we speak of unlimited data with speed reduction. The 10 GB threshold applies each day; it is not a 280 GB pool that you can use whenever you want. The time and time zone for the daily renewal must be confirmed with the provider.

What changes when speed drops

Pages, downloads and files may take longer to load. Video, video calls and working with large files may be particularly affected. We do not promise that every app will work the same after the reduction: it depends on the actual speed and available network. The exact reduced speed is awaiting provider confirmation and must appear in the final terms before purchase.

Who a four-week eSIM may suit

It may suit long holidays, family visits, business trips or routes through several included countries in one zone. If you need maps, bookings and messaging along the way, first check that every destination is covered. For remote work, also check internet sharing terms and arrange a backup connection: coverage and speed may vary.

When the 28 days start

Install and activate your eSIM before travelling, using Wi-Fi and following your order instructions. You have up to 90 days from purchase to activate your eSIM. Your 28 days of service begin with the first use of data. If your home country is included and you use data there, the plan may start before your trip. The activation window does not add days of service.

What if I travel for 30 days, two months, or more?

Calculate the exact duration from the first use. A 28-day rate does not automatically cover 30, 60, or 90 days, and the prior activation period does not extend the days of service. There are no other durations, top-ups, or confirmed extensions in our catalog yet. Write to us before buying so we can assess your stay and compare available options.

Compare the roaming you already have subscribed to

Check whether your operator includes the destination and what data and usage conditions it allows. For trips within the EU, your plan’s roaming conditions and fair use limits may apply. If you already have enough data, you may not need another eSIM. For destinations outside your usual coverage, compare the total cost of the 28 days and not just the advertised price per day.

Set up your connection before you travel

Check the exact model of the phone, that it supports eSIM, and that it is free of carrier lock. Review countries, duration, speed, and final price. Follow the order instructions to install and select the eSIM as the data line. The plans are data only: app calls use the internet, while conventional calls and SMS from your usual number keep your operator's terms.

Choose your area with Mundi eSIM

We recommend considering a Mundi eSIM if your trip lasts up to 28 days, your phone is compatible and your route is included in Europe+, the Americas or Africa. See the updated VAT-inclusive prices below and open the plan details to check countries. Unlimited data includes 10 GB per day at full speed, then reduced speed; check availability on each plan’s page.

Frequently asked questions

Do the data keep working after the 10 GB per day?

Yes. During the plan’s validity, you still have reduced-speed data after exceeding the daily 10 GB at full speed. The exact reduced speed is awaiting provider confirmation.

Are they unlimited at maximum speed too?

No. High-speed data has a threshold of 10 GB per day. You can continue browsing at reduced speed afterwards.

Do 28 days equal a month?

They are equivalent to four weeks. They do not cover a month of 30 or 31 days; calculate your trip dates from the first use.

Are the 90 activation days 90 days of internet?

No. You have up to 90 days from purchase to activate your eSIM. Your 28 days of service begin with the first use of data.

Can I use the plan in several countries?

Yes, if all the countries are included in the same regional plan and it remains valid. Check the full list before buying.
